About me

Hi! I'm Maro. I draw and paint since I remember, but I started to publish my works in 2006, when I was 13 years old. I was active on few internet forums about The Lion King movie, and I noticed many users had deviantART accounts. I decided to join, and shared my first digital drawings there.
Disney movies are the first thing that inspired me in my life.
It all started with lions and dogs, because I loved 101 Dalmatians too.
People I met on various internet sites really helped me to improve my skills and discover new options in graphic programs I used. I got advices and critique every time I posted something new. That's why I felt more confident with my art skills, and at 2009 I decided to go to the art high school. My thesis work was a comic illustrating the first chapter of Warrior Cats book.Today I am fully focused on furry art, because I always loved to escape from reality, to the world of colorful animals, magic, dragons and fairytales. I learn from other artists and books, trying to improve my skills. I still do most of my artworks on computer, but watercolors and acrylics are mediums I really like too. I also do pyrography, an art burned on wooden surfaces. I am really interested in the art of tattooing, and hope to try it in the future.

Commissions rules/ Terms of services

By ordering an art from Fuzzy Maro ART You accept all of these rules.
1. Themes of artworks:
I will draw:
• Any animals in feral, anthro or chibi form
• Wings, winged characters
• Fantasy creatures
• Characters from descriptions
• Characters based on pokemon, digimon, mlp etc
• Dragons, gryphons, taurs
• Portraits
• Backgrounds, landscapes
• Real or fantasy plants
• Vent art
• Wounds and gore
• Adult art (ask about examples) with some exceptions to discuss
I won't draw
• Robots, cars, machines
• People
I have the right to refuse a commission.
2. Payment
There are two ways for payment: (ask me about them before commissioning me). My prices are in USD but feel free to convert to my main currency when You send a payment. Please use a payment for services option, not "family&friends".
Invoice can be sent.
I only accept USD and PLN.
You can pay me before I start working on Your order or after I show You a watermarked sketch.
3. Changes
Changes are possible at a sketch phase. Feel free to ask for them until You are satisfied with pose, composition etc.
When You accept the sketch, that means no major changes during the painting process.
Major changes are: pose, expression, composition, backgroud, clothes etc.
**4. Time and showing the work in progress (WIP) **
You can request WIPs of Your artwork whenever You want.
Time of creating depends on complexity of order, amount of changes and my other commissions which are in progress.
It averagely takes few days to three weeks to complete a commission, but it may sometimes be extended. I do art in many techniques and it's hard to predict the creating time.

IMPORTANT:
I don't usually work at sunday and saturday and I am often offline at weekends!
5. Refunds
You can get a refund (minus a payment service's fee) if You cancel a commission before I start working on it or if I cancel the commission for personal reason. No refunds if I already started the work!
6. Artistic freedom?
If You order an artwork You can give me an artistic freedom or tell me Your idea and send me a color palette, photos and shapes to base. I can create custom characters from color palettes or photos of various things. I do not demand an artistic freedom for commissions!
Fun fact that may be inspiring:
I have a very strong synesthesia which means that I instantly see colors in my imagination when I hear sounds, names and songs. It is tied to every sense. You can send me a playlist to see what color composition it would trigger in my painting. Or You can tell me to use a color palette made from colors I associate certain letters with.
7. Rights and publishing
I have full rights to my artworks (not Your characters, only the finished product). It means that I can publish them in my galleries, facebook page and portfolios. You can request more watermarks on Your character if You want to protect it better, but there is always one watermark on a finished artwork.
By ordering an artwork from me You are accepting that I can:
• Promote my creations with it in any way
• Sell prints of a finished product in any form
• Use it as example of my skills in portfolios etc.
You, as a client have a right to:
• Upload the art anywhere (Writting that I am the author will be very appreciated)
• Print the artwork for a private use

8. Prices and negotiation
We can discuss about prices, especially if You want many characters in an illustration. Prices can change if You want to order more artworks or comic pages. Feel free to ask me about something which is not mentioned in my pricelist.
9. Finished product
After the artwork is done, You get a best quality scan/photo/digital file I can provide.
Traditional artworks and crafts can be mailed.
You can request a .psd file of a digital painting.

Digital art is created on a computer, using a graphic program - which does not mean it can NOT become physical! All works may be suitable for printing.
Before ordering such artwork, let the artist know if You want it to be done for a certain purpose (wallpaper, print, avatar, facebook background).

Simple sceneThis kind of artwork shows Your character in a certain environment. It means that You can pick a place instead of abstract or textured effects! Simple scene may be:
With sky effects (clouds, north lights, starry sky, sunsets...)
or with places like beach, mountains.
These places will be painted in a simple way, showing mostly the atmosphere, lights and feelings.
The character will be fully colored and shaded, affected with the atmosphere of a place it is painted in.Price:

Complex sceneThis kind of painting shows the character in a precisely painted environment. The background contains more elements than simple scene, involving all details. Character is affected by lights and all effects of the scene.Price:

Traditional art

Traditional art means art done on paper, using various kinds of mediums! Maro's artworks can be done with watercolors, markers, acrylics, colored pencils...
Traditional art is delivered in form of high quality scan, and the original may be shipped worldwide!

About shipping:
The cost is 9$ for any kind of artwork. Art can be mailed anywhere! It is protected with stiff cardboard and bubble wrap. Time depends on post office, usually takes around 2 weeks, but can be 3 weeks or event a month ocassionaly.Any questions?

Pyrography

The technique of decorating wood or leather by burning a design on the surface with a heated metallic point.My pyrography artworks are handmade, Pictures are not burned with a machine. They can be painted with acrylics.Every badge and wooden box is varnished with a transparent lacquer. It protects the wood, makes colors more vibrant (or wooden texture to be more visible), and make everything a little bit glossy.The project is at first done digitally and copied on a wooden surface after it's completed.

Wooden boxes with metal elements. Their price is set individually because it depends on complexity of project and the box size.
